Zanthoxylum mayu merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Juan Fernández. Nama ilmiah Zanthoxylum mayu diperkenalkan oleh Carlo Luigi Giuseppe Bertero pada tahun 1830.
