Zanthoxylum retusum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rutaceae (suku jeruk-jerukan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Zanthoxylum retusum diperkenalkan oleh Byron Wilson Pereira de Albuquerque pada tahun 1975.
