Zygopetalum maculatum subsp. triste merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol menyerupai umbi lapis (pseudobulbous). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Zygopetalum maculatum subsp. triste diperkenalkan oleh João Barbosa Rodrigues pada tahun 2020.
