Ceanothus dentatus merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sandscrub ceanothus. Nama ilmiah Ceanothus dentatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Torrey pada tahun 1838.
