Ceanothus griseus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan carmel ceanothus. Nama ilmiah Ceanothus griseus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Trelease pada tahun 1942.
