Ceanothus palmeri merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California selatan hingga Meksiko (Baja California bagian utara). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan palmer ceanothus. Nama ilmiah Ceanothus palmeri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Trelease pada tahun 1888.
