Ceanothus tomentosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California hingga Meksiko barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woolyleaf ceanothus. Nama ilmiah Ceanothus tomentosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Christopher Parry pada tahun 1889.
