Ceanothus tomentosus var. olivaceus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California selatan hingga Meksiko (Baja California bagian utara). Nama ilmiah Ceanothus tomentosus var. olivaceus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Willis Linn Jepson pada tahun 1925.
