Curcuma australasica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Zingiberaceae (suku temu-temuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Maluku hingga Papua, Northern Territory utara, Queensland Utara. Nama ilmiah Curcuma australasica diperkenalkan oleh Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1867.
