Manihot divergens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Goiás, Brasília D.F., Minas Gerais). Nama ilmiah Manihot divergens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1827.
