Manihot pruinosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Mato Grosso, Goiás). Nama ilmiah Manihot pruinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1827.
