Rhododendron ambiguum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan, Guizhou). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron ambiguum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Botting Hemsley pada tahun 1911.
