Rhododendron arborescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan smooth azalea. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron arborescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Traugott Pursh pada tahun 1824.
