Rhododendron catawbiense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari West Virginia hingga Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan catawba rosebay. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron catawbiense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
