Rhododendron arboreum subsp. nilagiricum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah India barat daya. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron arboreum subsp. nilagiricum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jonathan Carl Zenker pada tahun 1930.
