Rhododendron argipeplum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga Tibet selatan. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron argipeplum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Isaac Bayley Balfour pada tahun 1916.
