Rhododendron aureum subsp. hypopitys adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Rusia tenggara dan Timur Jauh selatan. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron aureum subsp. hypopitys diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Antonina Ivanovna Pojarkova pada tahun 1985.
