Rhododendron calostrotum subsp. riparium merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arunachal Pradesh hingga Myanmar utara. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron calostrotum subsp. riparium diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frank Kingdon-Ward pada tahun 1978.
