Rhododendron commutatum merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan (Sabah, Brunei, Sarawak). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron commutatum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Otto Sleumer pada tahun 1960.
