Rhododendron comptum var. trichodes adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Papua New Guinea (Gn. Albert Edward). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron comptum var. trichodes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Otto Sleumer pada tahun 1960.
