Rhododendron habbemae merupakan tumbuhan hemillitofit dari famili Ericaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron habbemae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sijfert Hendrik Koorders pada tahun 1912.
