Rhododendron haematophthalmum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma pegunungan tropis di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron haematophthalmum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hermann Otto Sleumer pada tahun 1960.
