Rhododendron ripleyi merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra Utara. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron ripleyi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elmer Drew Merrill pada tahun 1940.
