Rhododendron trichanthum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (barat-tengah dan Sichuan tengah). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron trichanthum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alfred Rehder pada tahun 1945.
