Lupinus albus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa tenggara hingga Türkiye. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan white lupine. Nama ilmiah Lupinus albus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
